The Department of Electrical Engineering aims to:
- Preparing distinguished engineering cadres in various electrical engineering fields in accordance with quality assurance standards.
- Preparing graduates with a scientific and engineering level that qualifies them to compete in the local and regional market, adhering to the standards and ethics of the profession.
- Updating study plans, laboratories, books of courses and references whenever needed.
- Providing the academic atmosphere that motivates students to persevere and innovate and benefit from the services of the university system.
To motivate faculty members to professional development through participation in conferences and specialized courses, attracting faculty members with distinguished competencies, and establishing the principle and directions of continuous learning among faculty members and students.- To strengthen scientific exchange links and to work in partnership agreements with similar departments in universities and other knowledge institutions.
- Providing consultancy and engineering services to all sectors of society to serve sustainable development and meet the changing needs of the labor market.
